MBBS, FRACS, MS, DNB, Member BREASTSURGANZDr Sebastian Rodrigues has been trained both in Australia and internationally. He has 25 years of clinical experience. He has been practising general Surgery since 1995 in Mumbai, India at one of the largest tertiary referral centres. He has obtained Masters in surgery and Diplomate National Board (DNB) which are the surgical fellowships in India. He gained valuable experience in emergency and elective general Surgery during this time.
After immigrating to Australia in 2005, Dr Rodrigues retrained with Royal Australasian College of Surgeons at the Prince of Wales Hospital network, Sydney. He went through broad general surgical and sub speciality rotations like upper gastrointestinal, colorectal and breast and endocrine in various hospitals in Sydney. He was awarded FRACS in 2012 after successful completion of training. He further underwent post fellowship training in breast and endocrine surgery at the Nepean Hospital, Penrith and the Concord Repatriation Hospital, Sydney.
He is a member of BreastsurgANZ, General Surgeons Australia and Australian Medical Association. He is also GESA accredited for endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Dr Rodrigues feels humbled and privileged to have spent 25 years in general Surgery both internationally and various tertiary referral centres in Sydney. Dr Rodrigues will provide care to his patients that will be professional, coordinated, respectful and compassionate.
He is available to accept general surgical, excision of skin lesions and cancer, excision of swellings, ingrown toenail, haemorrhoid, vasectomy, hernia, gall bladder, endoscopy, colonoscopy, and breast referrals in the clinic. He is accredited at the Westmead Private Hospital (Westmead), Waratah Private Hospital (Hurstville) and Holroyd Private Hospital (Guildford) to admit and perform surgeries.
